Comic Process

The process that I create comics are as follows.
I begin with a very rough 'storytelling' sketch, just enough to get the point across of the motion that I want to create.
Then I follow with a proper sketch, with all the information I need to create crisp lineart.
The inking/lineart phase.
flat colors based on a predetermined color palette.
Shadows. Giving the art proper dimension and life, the shadows are never colored in black, but instead with the proper color shade shifts that color theory promotes.
Finishing with appropriate backgrounds, word bubbles, and action lines if needed.
